How to list your storage space

By Big Toy Market

Have a gated lot, barn, garage, covered spot or spare driveway? You can list it on Big Toy Market for free, and boat, RV, trailer and vehicle owners nearby can find it on the storage map.

1. Create the listing

Go to List your storage space. Pick the type of space, the vehicles you accept, the maximum length, width and height, how many spots you have and your monthly price (weekly and nightly are optional). Enter your ZIP: only the approximate area is shown publicly, never your address.

2. Add photos and the details renters ask about

After saving, add clear photos of the entrance, the surface and any cover. Note the access hours, security (gate, cameras, lighting), power or water, and your rules. Keep phone numbers, emails and links out of the listing: renters contact you through Big Toy Market messages.

3. Answer requests

A request opens a conversation in your inbox with the dates, vehicle and length. Accept or decline it from My storage. Business hosts also get each request as a lead in the CRM.

4. Agree payment and terms directly

Big Toy Market does not take payments or deposits for storage. Agree the price, deposit, access, insurance and a written agreement directly with the renter, and let them see the space before any money changes hands. Never accept overpayments or requests to refund the difference. See our safety tips.

5. Keep it up to date

Update the free spots or pause requests when you're full. After a stay, renters whose request you accepted can leave a review, and you can reply publicly.
